Green manure

The green manure in the pumpkin enclosure had got really high so I've been strimming it regularly to stop it from flowering and keep it under control until it needs to go in the ground. 

I've also removed the chicken wire around the bamboo canes that mark out the area as they now get in the way of winter jobs but I didn't have time to roll it and store it, this will be a job for the weekend.

When the growing season's over, I always wonder why I have so many bamboo canes/pots + so much chicken wire/string etc and when plants start growing again, it turns out I don't have nearly enough! Every single year...
