Amandine's Plot Treize

Edging work

The autumn-winter (in between showers!) is the best time of year to repair structures, replace rotten timber and work on boundaries and edging.

As I needed bricks to make the basketweave new paths in between my asparagus beds, I used the bricks that marked out my artichoke bed.

But luckily, I had enough timber planks to redo the edges of this bed. My sciatica is (slowly but surely) improving and I can saw and dig for a few minutes without pain, but I couldn't finish before dark so that's a second job to finish at the weekend.
