Hot

A stinkingly hot lowveld day today - everything in the farm game park was looking for water or shade.... I went out whilst Y was resting to see what was about. Croc pond was busy - many ibis, herons, lapwing, Egyptian geese were enjoying the water as were the four crocs!
The male Nyala was doing an impression of a red deer - cropping the low branches/leaves of one of the trees it was resting under.
My last day/night here on the farm so Ian and Sasha (Y's son and DIL) came round for dinner.  A most enjoyable evening - before getting everything packed ready for an early start to Johannesburg.
