Thanksgiving Day

The fourth Thursday in November. Thanksgiving Day. Pat celebrates this day with great enthusiasm. and has planned a 6 course menu for the dinner. The Blipfoto is of my place setting and features a pumpkin place mat.

It is almost as important as Christmas. Mr and Mrs Dog are here along with Wilma and Stuart. We last had lunch with them at The Ship Inn at Broughty Ferry.

Apparently I took a fine group photograph using someone’s iPhone. However a copy is still awaited.

The dinner is a great success. I had made an interesting cocktail in bulk for six. There were four alcoholic ingredients. Jack Daniels, Gin, Amaretto and Dry Vermouth plus various herbs etc.

It was very tasty and it did manage to loosen some  guest’s tongues.

A great evening was enjoyed by all, however when someone’s head clears tomorrow peace talks will be required. Thankfully these will be held elsewhere and should not interfere with our day tomorrow.
