2022 Thursday — Thanksgiving #58

While we were enjoying our holiday meal, Mr. Fun reminded me that this was our 58th Thanksgiving together. I wish I had a photo from each one. I remember some of them, but not all.

About a month ago I made a reservation at Dorn’s for Thanksgiving dinner. Our meal of traditional turkey with all the trimmings was delicious. We each had a glass of Tobin James “Dream Weaver” sparkling wine. The restaurant was comfortably warm with fellow diners — many groups of 3, and then as we were finishing, the busboys set a table for 10. While we were eating, the sunset in our view. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

As we headed to our house, we did a little sightseeing; drove slightly north of our place to see downtown Cayucos. We had pumpkin pie with whipped cream later at home.

I did purchase a turkey and all the trimmings at the grocery store; we will cook that this weekend.
