What A Day

Mum passed away over a year ago and today we finally managed to complete the sale of her flat. Endless issues with the sale which took it right down to wire for the completion. But here we are, done, dusted and a big weight off my mind. For a bit of relief from the tension today, we took Jak for a local stroll and found these lovely mushrooms. Thank goodness for nature and my camera.

On another good note, pup Jak was booked in for major surgery on his knee next week but after a consultation with the wonderful vet (who squeezed in an appointment to check him over today at the last minute) he has decided Jak has improved enough to monitor and slowly increase his exercise instead! Fingers crossed he will not need surgery.
