switched on

The cafe was so busy at one point today that we were having to turn people away. It stayed busy for most of the day, but work was enjoyable - I always like chatting with customers (when there's time!) and the young people stayed cheerful and enthusiastic.

I had an hour or so to wait for my bus home, so enjoyed the entertainment preceding the big Christmas Light Switch On. I didn't see the actual switch on, I was home in front of the fire with a cup of tea by that time :-)
