Crab apples

Some bits and pieces of admin before lunch, after which MrM and I had planned to go for a walk to make the most of the good weather.

Then a phone call from the estate agent. Someone would like to view the flat, ideally late this afternoon. Aaaargh! But the estate agent had persuaded them that it's better to view a property in daylight, so they'd like to come as early as possible tomorrow morning. Sigh of relief! So we went for a walk, but only the Humbleton round. There are two crab apple trees beside the main path on the Common, one of which has very little fruit this year and this one, with the most beautiful bright red crab apples.

Abandoned the idea of an oven bake for this evening's meal in favour of a pizza, much less time-consuming and far less washing up, to leave as much time as possible for cleaning and tidying. There'll be no time for that in the morning!

More than ready to sit down now, and enjoy a glass of red before bed...
