Beams at Bassenthwaite

We had friends coming this evening to go to the Theatre with us to see Sarah Millican (who was hilarious), so I popped over to Cockermouth early to get the weekly shop, stopped at Bassenthwaite Lake on the way home as I'd spotted a few sunbeams (and I can't resist them). 

Waited half an hour or so and got many pics, always having to wait until the Sun was behind a cloud. This was the best group - all bracketed to ensure I managed to hold detail in the highlights of the sun behind the cloud, and in the shadows of the headland.
