Slow season!

Everything is slow at this time of year, the sun is slow to rise, birds are slow to appear, plants and trees are shutting down, all preparing for winter. However, when the sun did come through it lit the silver on the trunks of the Birches and shone on the maroon/purple of the twigs. Very cheering!
