The clouds..

were unusual, so had to go with this shot. Very hard frost overnight and  it stayed in the shade, as temperatures didn’t rise above 2°, but it didn’t feel cold. The sun shone all day. This walk involved a hoof-rutted pasture. Being frozen it was difficult to walk on but better than the mud it could have been. The Wood Ant nest was battened down, all snug inside.
