Wave Watcher

After making oat pancakes for breakfast, and sticking candles in them to celebrate Grandad Neil's birthday, we headed up north for a windy walk to blow away the cold germs that Asha and I have. We took hot chocolate and enjoyed watching the surfers.
Back via the English shop to collect more Christmas Day meal stuff that had arrived for us!
Asha had a cinema party this afternoon. They went to see Wakanda and then played in the park til about 9pm. Meanwhile Joha and Isabel turned up needing showers as their boiler's on the blink. Nate absolutely loved some 1 on 1 Isabel time.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Hot chocolate on the beach watching dramatic waves.
2) Nate's sense of fun. he insisted on having a curly moustache drawn on his face for serving the pancakes he'd helped make.
3) Danny doing the toing and frying re drop off and pick up for the party.

Today's joy theme is 'preparing';
1) Grateful for the tiny English shop helping us prepare for the big Christmas Day meal, and being so generous in the process.
2) Grateful that last night we did 'Sabbath prep' so we were able to feel more rested today...do the washing, tidy the flat etc...
3) Grateful for Nate helping me prepare the banana and strawberry oat pancakes this morning - he absolutely loved it...and eating them!
