A new crossing

The delivery truck can’t reach my neighbour Jean so today I took the horse feed the last 3 kms to her shed. In doing so, I needed to cross the new causeway recently constructed by Blue Mountains council at great expense. It’s built to withstand the regular floods in Megalong Creek but as Jean is the only resident further along Nellies Glen Rd (and she doesn’t drive), some ratepayers may question whether they have received value for money.
No matter, it’s an engineering masterpiece!
