In the woods

A grey start to the day as I headed off to a Pilates class first thing.  Once home I decided to go for a walk over the Commons to find some of the remaining autumnal colour.  I had a different walk as the usual carpark was closed last week so I chose a different one and wandered into different plantations around Woodbury Common.  I was pleased to see there was still a lot of colour around but the forecast sunny periods today didn't materialise.  This image is an ICM one.

Back home for a late lunch.  The sun briefly appeared for about 2 minutes around sunset.  I hope we get to see a bit more this coming week although I'm not hopeful.
