Up, Down, Down, Up

In that order.

To the John Lewis store at Cheadle Royal this morning, our first visit since sometime in 2019. We were hoping it would be quiet, but of course it’s that time of the year. It was OK though, and we masked as usual so it felt OK and J was comfortable. A winter coat for J and a few other bits and bobs. Two hours was our limit, and then we headed home for lunch.

We have used JL over the last two plus years, all purchases online. I think that will be how we’ll continue as there’s more choice. It was however useful to remind ourselves of how a real shop works. And to note the current fashion trends - why do so many women’s winter coats in 2022 look like wearable sleeping bags ?
