Wedding Celebrations - Part 2

As my partner's niece is half Sikh we were invited to attend a more Indian focused celebration today. There were plenty of gorgeous dresses in evidence and she had her hands painted with Henna too. I was told by a friend of mine that the husband's name is hidden in the Mehndi design. As is also the tradition, she wore a beautifully embroidered red lehenga.

There was Bhangra music and dancing and drums to add to the sounds. Quite impressive.

We didn't stay for the whole party as we'd decided not to put the cat into the cattery again so soon.
