Clockwork.....

It was lovely to have a slow day today. No alarm clocks!

We did walk to the park and have a coffee in the museum cafe this afternoon. This is the mechanics of a clock that sits in the cafe. It was originally house in the municipal town hall in Newcastle-under-Lyme. It was donated to the town in 1890 by local chemist Edward Turner and made by Newcastle clock-maker Frederick Skerrett.
