Fun at the Freedom Fair

Guernsey celebrated 68 years of freedom today. Most people enjoyed a day of freedom from work and school. Some people braved town, (which was packed!)
Some children enjoyed the fair. (including Miss T.) We enjoyed a day of peace, rounded off with a family meal in a local bar.
A nice day!
Sadly, tonight the winds are forecast to reach force 9 and so concerts and possibly the firework display are cancelled this evening. The marquee on the pier had to be taken down early! Liberation Day is always windy it seems to me!
