"Daisy"

These daisies are all around the hospital grounds as I walk up to my class.
Daisies bring back such happy memories of hair bands and bracelets that mum and my aunt Cath taught us to make from a very young age. We were lucky enough to live minutes from Manor Park and spent hours there every night paddling in the river, collecting leaves and seeds for the nature table at St Lukes primary and most memorably laughing.
Mum spends much of her day sleeping but we spend time regularly talking about years ago and our happy times spent in the Rose Garden and Secret Garden in our special park.
Mum has many favourite flowers, daisies are one of them, but she loves dog daisies. At the moment her beloved magnolia is in full bloom just outside her window. She can't see it but every morning I tell her how beautiful it is and how we will go out to see it later. Mum just smiles as we both remember happy times when we were all able to skip to our favourite park to make daisy chains :-)))
