"Clever snails"

An early blip for me today. On the way to mums I try to go the long way to incorporate my daily walk get it out of the way :-( I captures a few ducks at Howard Park and had a bash at macro shots with this new camera well that was a joke !! they left much to be desired.
I decided to try to master this wifi transfer and voila it worked.
The snails in mum and dads garden are very athletic they prefer climbing her trees and bushes and stripping the foliage and flowers. Last year they managed to eat a whole laburnum and as far as I could see they all lived after eating seeds and pods that are poisonous to humans (I think)
I suppose this shot is approaching a close up as I had to balance on the stone edgings on the path.
Well that's as close to a macro shot I'm going to get today.
Good job mum can't see the snails on her trees she would be collecting them all and setting the free on the fields nearby.
We used to say they were "homing snails" because no matter how many she caught and set free elsewhere they always seemed to be back the next day.
It's cold wet and windy here today, what a change from the start of the week :-)
