Frozen In Time

I like this image because the subject is not so obvious and the transitions are subtle. An oak leaf, suspended in time and place. I think those tiny orange elliptical shapes are seeds, but I'm not sure what from, which are sitting on the surface of the ice. Anyway they add brighter spots of colour to the image and make an interesting pattern. There's also green in there from some aquatic plants that were still going before the drop in temperature.
