The night garden.

The leaves are out in my white beam. The leaves are very light green. I daylight they look a bit too white. At night, lit by a nearby street lamp they look as weird and uncanny as most other things do. I used to think this tree was a very slow grower until I put young birch trees in the front and back. The birches in the front grow a lot less quickly than their sibling in the back. I reckon our front garden's outlook is simply not as conducive to growth as the back.
