Although Lucas went home yesterday, it's been another full-on day today! The sun shone and it was a beautiful morning so I went outside and made the most of it. Lots of gardening and general tidying up round about, sowed some carrot seeds and brought some worried looking little plants out of the greenhouse and into the cold frame! This evening I covered them with a layer of bubblewrap, so they should be okay.

Mike was working on the boat all day but joined friend Sue and I for coffee and scones and jam mid-morning before we went for a bit of a walk around the cliffs with Ollie. It was lovely, blue seas and blue skies, we had a good chat and decided on our strategy for the committee meeting we were both involved with this evening. Basically don't make eye contact with each other and no sniggering or eye rolling!

These tulips are growing in a tub on the back steps. They have survived all the wild weather and are looking particularly lovely!
