Star light, star bright

I wanted to do a close up of one of our stained glass stars that a couple people commented on in my wood stove picture here
Of course by the time I got home there wasn't enough light coming in from outside to do it justice. I tried a few things then had Dan hold it in front of the lamp. It turned out to be an interesting photo. I like the color of the light on the star but also on his hand. (That is our giant rosemary plant in the background)
We have a pretty big wind/rain storm coming towards us for tomorrow. It shouldn't start raining until around 2 or so but it sounds fast and furious with gusts up to 45 mph. I'm just not a fan of the wind...
