Time for something different
I had lots of errands to do today. I started with a call to MaineCare, which is health care for low income folks. I hate calling them. The hold time can be long and their phone system can be weird. But I called early to hopefully get through. 20 minutes and I finally got through. Two questions in and the call was dropped. I was so angry... ARG!
But I couldn't recall because I had a doctor's appointment in town.
As I drove into the office space I was surprised to find the hospital in full demolition. I asked the receptionist about it. They have built a new, tiny hospital (the old one was pretty small too. Blue hill is a small town) and are completely taking down the old one. I took this photo from the second floor of the doctor's office. I come to town often and know they have been doing construction but I haven't been in this space recently. It was kind of a shock. I guess they have moved PT, OT, and the mammogram unit over to the dr. office space.
The hill in the background is Blue Hill. One that I've climbed several times, including this summer with Mom and Judy. Here is a blip from that view point.
I did manage to call MaineCare once I got home, and got everything set up. Only an hour wait, but I read my book. Oh bureaucracy.....
