Pest!
Feeling a bit disappointed today for two reasons.
I was expecting a call from Manchester United asking me to be their new manager. I feel I have adequate qualifications for the post.
I represented our primary school at football on a couple of occasions. Okay I know there were only fifty pupils but...
I also co-managed a boys' football team that reached a cup final. I realise we lost, but their goal was miles offside.
They have appointed David Moyles
The other reason is garden pests.
Pictured above is the Magpie Moth caterpillar. It is about 15m.m. long and on its own is not a problem. However, last year, there were hundreds if not thousands and they stripped our gooseberry bushes. This is a photo of one this morning so they are back!
I will collect them and put them over the garden wall.
Other garden pests include: carrot root fly, slugs and snails, cabbage white butterflies, Joe and Lucy for trampling on things and Dylan and Bandit for eating things.
A gardener's lot is not a happy one at times!
