Eric Liddell Centre

It was the last U3A Geology meeting for this term today, which traditionally involves a quiz of some sort and a lot of cake, crafted by members to represent a geological feature.

We feasted on collapsed caldera, concretions in sandstone layers, a meteor crater and an entire Siccar Point.

This is another of the lovely stained glass windows in the centre, the legend is 'They That Sleep In The Dust  Of The Earth Shall Awake'.
