Beware Little Fish

Suzanne and I made our annual trek to Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River north of Baltimore, MD this morning.  It was VERY cold and breezy, but that didn't discourage the photographers.  We all waited patiently for the eagle flyovers and fishing expeditions, which weren't all that frequent today.  That didn't keep us from taking an extraordinary number of photos, many with clipped wings, or in my case, a few with no bird at all!  This eagle was successful in capturing the poor little fish near the surface.  I have also posted a flyby with a fish held tight in those impressive talons.
