Castle Rock

Damp first thing, rain went off in the early afternoon. Out to the City Art Centre - three floors of photography now on exhibit. Into the Fruitmarket across the street - bright paintings and video installations by Hayley Tompkins. 

Then into Princes Street Gardens - the bottom paths are open again in both the East and West sides. In extra, mahonia flowering energetically. Returned by George Street, where there is a new ice skating rink, and Queen Street gardens.

Local blippers - are any of you going to the National Galleries Friends event on Tuesday 6th at the Portrait Gallery ? I signed up for it, then thought there might be other Blip people there .. blipmeet ?
