Katie slept from 445 last night until nearly 6am. She woke up full of beans, with a huge appetite. Her face is looking much better, although flares ups intermittently. Her glands and throat are still inflamed but the rash is nearly all gone. Apparently her throat/glands could take a while to return to normal but the infection by now should be under control, which I think is the case with the amount she ate first thing.

We've had another steady day as she has a very active weekend ahead which she still wants to do all of. She's done some more drawings and had another long bath. We popped out for a bit into town and got her a bargain pair of garvlins. I was very gutted that she's not the right size for a lovely pair of birkenstocks I want for her! We got a quick drink, she asked for and rejected a sandwich and then we got the thngs for tea before we came home. She's looking extremely spaced out in her jammies with a cup of milk at the moment. I suspect she wont last much beyond 4pm again! Cancel that - she's asleep.
