Clear water

The landscape around the pond is really starting to look bare and wintery now but it's the first time the water has been clear since spring. It's nice to see all the rain has done something to oxygenate the pond water as it can get murky with falling leaves.

This pond has been such a labour of love (and the hard work in the summer was definitely character-building!) but it's one of the best things on my plot and it brings me a lot of joy all year round.
