A very cool swim

I got up at 5:50
The air temperature was 1 degree, the water was 7.3! We made it to the yellow buoy and back. The water was still, very welcome after my last few wavy swims.
It was sooo cold getting dressed we didn’t even speak. Tea, Christmas cake, Tiffin and flapjack were needed for recovery along with singing happy birthday to Julie with candles a a copy of menopause magazine:).
