Corbridge in the rain

We went to Hexham first. It was very wet. Most of the shops didn’t open till 11am but we found a cafe.
Corbridge was our next stop. ‘RE found’ was full of lovely Christmas stuff, hand made soaps and candles plus other tasteful paraphernalia. I somehow came out empty handed.
The Patisserie is one of my favourite shows, always beautiful decorated and stuffed with deliciously enormous sugary treats. I resisted those too.
There was a Christmas Tree festival in the church. Lovely to see all the local businesses and groups taking part.
We lunched at The Heron before heading home.
