Chrche's Mansion

Back 'home' for a few days, this blip is taken in the neighbouring town of Nantwich.
Churche's Mansion was built in 1577, eleven years prior to the Spanish Armada.
Nantwich has many other 'black and white' buildings in the town centre and down 'Welsh Row', well worth a visit, notably in January when the siege of Nantwich, a Civil War battle, is re-enacted complete with cannons and rude and licentious soldiery!
A word of thanks for my brother in law who has kindly given me access to his wi fi, and also profuse apologies for my unreliable blipping and back blipping over the past week. Back to Divonne in 6 days from now when I will have time to catch up with what you, my blipmates, have been doing recently.
