This is not a stage musical!

The Lyceum theatre in Crewe is a fine old building dating from 1911.
In an attempt to keep it open and surviving, the new management have opened it for functions, including weddings.
Thus it was that I attended their first wedding ceremony, the marriage of the daughter of one of my oldest friends.
It has to be said that it was a fine, theatrical ceremony, notwithstanding the irrational exhuberance of the smoke/ dry ice machine operator.
Never mind, a great, memorable time was had by all!
I apologise to all my blip friends and subscribers for my inability to view and comment on their recent offerings, but my on line time has been exceptionally limited recently. Normal service will be resumed in a week, all being well, when I return home to Divonne.
