Rushing Water

Earlier there had been billowing clouds. I went out with a ND filter and a wide angle lens, hoping to take some black and white long exposure shots. What I found was blue sky and one tiny cloud. Plan B required.

It was still windy and choppy. Water washed over the ice covered rocks. I couldn't tell if it was adding to the ice or not, but it was just below freezing.

I tried catching the spray against the darker water and the water rushing in. At 1/15 the texture almost looks like hair or strands of plastic.
