Compression

Compression lines in the lake ice along the shore make an interesting pattern broken up by a few (naturally) scattered willow leaves. I like the dominant bluey green colour against the warmer tones of the rocks and leaves.

The empty space in the top right bothered me at first, but I think there's just enough variation in that area. Looking almost straight down flattens out all the elements, making it more of a two dimensional image, interesting in and of itself, as opposed to an image of something.
