Wellington…

……………………………….Harbour, NZ

Today we left the North Island of NZ sailing for home at the top of the South Island.

As the ferry sailed towards Wellington Heads and the Cook Strait this was taken looking back into the harbour.
The small island is Ward island, one of the three small islands in Wellington Harbour.

We left cloudy cool conditions behind and arrived in Picton to sunny blue skies. It reached 28C around 6pm as we drove along the Wairau Valley towards home.

Once again our road journey was via St Arnaud and the Tophouse road.
We left our daughter’s home at 11.30 am and arrived home just after 9pm.

A quick upload and then bed as we have an appointment in Nelson early tomorrow morning.

Again, a huge thank you for the continued gifts of stars and hearts for my granddaughter’s feet encased in her new point shoes.
The comments and stars for yesterday’s Nursery Spider are also very much appreciated.
Tomorrow evening I will start catching up with you all.
