Appleby Castle

We had a very comfortable and warm nights sleep in Appleby Castle. We arrived at breakfast before the other guests and got a shot of Mr D at breakfast. By main blip is of the Castle as we left. On the way home we dropped into the Tebay Services and had an enjoyable visit to the farm shop. It’s much better than the last time I went.
My final shot is of today’s tea. Earl Grey. A bit floral for me, but ok. The ‘did you know’ fact is about tea being discovered by a Chinese emperor many centuries ago. I find this rather implausible, but hey, it’s only a story.
