Monday: Hotel Entrance

This week is going to be a week of many parts.  When you see what I have to do at the end of the week you’ll appreciate why I’ll be glad when Sunday comes………

It was up to Belize City this morning for both me and my colleague,Kate.  I was at an event until mid-afternoon and Kate was escorting an official visitor around town.  I then met up with them later in the day so that we could travel back to Belmopan together.  

Martin, aforementioned official visitor, is staying with me.  We worked together years ago but I can’t say we know each other particularly well.  He’s pretty jet-lagged so took himself off after dinner (prepped by Lily, the housekeeper, not me - lest you think I’d developed sudden culinary skills in K’s absence).  We had a nice chat over dinner but I do need to work on the atmosphere of the dining area.  It’s pretty soulless.

Talking of K, she is currently in Miami and will be home tomorrow.  Hurrah!

I didn’t think I had much in the way of blip opportunities today but then realized that entrance to the hotel, where my event was, actually looks pretty exotic…….
