The first batch of Christmas cards were posted today.  More still to go. Real Christmas cards seem to be less in favour these days.  Many people seem to opt for emails or charitable donations instead - undoubtedly both more eco-friendly, but it is one time of year when we can catch up with, or keep in touch with, friends and relatives whom we don't see so often.  I always think a physical card - personally signed and, perhaps, with a message as well - has so much more value (and our cards are personalised with one of my photos).
