A Blast From the Past….

A photo of a photo captured at least 45 years ago. One of our sons was very attached/addicted to his special blanket. He called it his “Go Gee”. It was a blue woolen “Aircell” cot blanket edged at both ends with satin. He would go to sleep sucking his thumb and stroking the satin edging. He took a smaller piece of it everywhere. Over time the blanket pieces got pretty “manky”. I had the temerity to wash the larger piece and he stood yeowling for ages , willing for it to dry in the hot Marlborough sunshine.
