2022 Tuesday — Little RJ

This afternoon across the screen of my phone came this message: "Book fair at daycare! Had to stop and get some" along with the photo of little RJ (our youngest great-grandchild), in the backseat of his mommy's car.

Then stopped in a parking lot, granddaughter Ashly did a "FaceTime" with us from the car. They were soon to head for the gym, I think that's the kiddy gym, where RJ would get to play on a trampoline and lots of other gym equipment that I know nothing about.

The FaceTime was a pleasant surprise in our late afternoon. We don't hear from them as much now that mommy is back to teaching fulltime in the classroom and little RJ is a couple days a week at daycare.

Here on California's Central Coast, rain fell much of this day and we enjoyed it except for the moments when Mitzi & Chloe needed to visit the backyard.
