The sticks are getting bigger
Pippa carried this stick about two or three hundred yards today. She chooses them herself and they seem to be getting bigger. Sooner or later she's going to graduate to tree trunks. I'm beginning to wonder if there's something of the exhibitionist about this dog. We were walking in East Sussex through lovely bluebell woods with former colleagues, the FT "old lags."
We called at Withyam Parish Church where the ashes of Vita Sackville West are entombed in the Sackville family vault in an inkpot. There are probably many more interesting things than this about the church but I thought Vita in the inkpot was quirky. I certainly had better images than this today but nothing that amused me more than this one.
