Devon sunset

Down the A303 to deepest Devon. The motorway would have been quicker but speed isn't everything and certainly not in our old Jeep. We're staying on a farm and this is sunset from just up the lane. Pippa isn't usually intimidated by other dogs but she was a bit taken aback by the three border collies that came to greet us. One of them is quite young and I watched the way Pippa lured it away from the others, then brought it down to size - not so brave without its mum. She'll have their respect in a day or two. No internet - first reaction, anxiety; second reaction, bliss!
