Kirkwall harbour.
Was lucky to be able to blip today as I took a tumble with my camera in hand.I bounced and so did the camera,we both survived to fight another day!
After a wet start we set off for a walk round Kirkwall.Headed for the harbour and took a few shots there and decided I liked this one best, tucked away round a corner lots of fishermans bits and bobs and plenty of creels. You can see the lifeboat,Margaret Foster through the gap,she returned to Kirkwall in January 2012 after an extensive refit.
The weather had improved by the afternoon and we spent some of it watching the short eared owl at the airport and watching other birds around the coast.
