In and out of the dusty bluebells

I've been after a bluebell shot for the last few weeks and today was the day. As we drove down through Killearnan to Redcastle we spotted this small woodland just full of bluebells. We were hoping for a walk on the Redcastle Estate but the heavens opened and although we do nt mind getting wet the camera does so we headed off to Beauly for Lunch in the Old School House. On the way we past lots of cars on there way to a wedding at the Church in Killearnan. Everybody looked splendid in their kilts and finery. We let three ladies across the road dressed in matching skirts and wondered if they were the choir.
It's our 29th wedding anniversary tomorrow so this brought back memories of our day. It was quite cold and cloudy on the day we got married but luckily it did nt rain.

For lunch we had a hot smoked salmon salad and we treated ourselves to a large ornamental hare for the garden :)

Just got home and two collared doves were in the garden.
