Morning sky

An early start this morning, a round trip of almost 400km to see a house in County Kilkenny.  It's been a lovely, though rather cold day.  The morning sun, after this colourful start, was a problem, as we were driving south and east.  Then on the way home we had further spectacular red skies, and the full moon.

We tried to arrange a second house viewing in the same area, but sadly the daughter of the house is down with a nasty cold bug, and can't leave the house.  We'll have to fit that in early next week, as on paper (well, actually on the computer screen) it was more promising than the one we saw.

The one we did see was in fact more interesting than we had expected.  A much more modern interior than many others we've seen, we expected to find it unfriendly, but actually I rather liked it.  It probably doesn't tick quite enough boxes, but the floor length windows in the master bedroom and the glass bannisters are probably the final straw for W with his vertigo.
