Frosty day

It's a bit of a bugger when you arrange your day to be available for a team meeting in the afternooon, only to find that the relevant manager has gone on leave and that only two of you show up. The end result is a feeling of a day spent unproductively.
However, we had a builder come round to look at a problem with the back door, which was installed by one of the area's leading building contractors, and which has leaked ever since. Given that we've got the kitchen being re-floored and refurbished in the Spring, we need to get this sorted sooner than later. At least what he said made sense of the problem. We've asked three builders for estimates, so we've met at least one credible chap.
