Frosty heron

Super cold this morning, but very bright so how could I resist a quick trip to the reserve.  I saw the buzzard being mobbed by a crow, the jay skimming about all over the place, the heron, the swan family and the kingfisher, all of which made me happy.  However, you have the heron because I liked the way the light fell on him.

I have also been looking after K, who is still very unwell, having a pre-Christmas meet with a friend, walking Hazel (in the dark and under the most beautiful golden moon) and making more Christmas lists..
